JUNIOR MINE GEOLOGIST (MG 2403010)
This position will be based at the Martabe Site within the Mine Geology Department and will report directly to the Senior Mine Geologist – GC.
The responsibilities of the Junior Mine Geologist include:
- Offering guidance and specialized knowledge regarding the geological aspects of gold-silver mining development and production.
- Assisting in ensuring the quality of extracted mineralized rock.
- Ensuring the safety of the ore extraction process.
- Overseeing drilling programs.
- Conducting pit mapping, sampling, and test work programs.
Qualifications & Experiences:
- Possession of a bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geological Science.
- Demonstrated experience of 1-2 years in mine geology, exploration, or resource development.
- Essential proficiency in rock mineralization and alteration knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with 3D Geological modeling software is advantageous.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to undergo training and share knowledge with colleagues.
- Ability to work both in the field and office settings for extended periods.
- Fluent in English, with proficient written and verbal communication skills.
