Accounting & Finance
Job Description:
- Recording Financial Transactions: Responsible for recording financial transactions accurately and timely using accounting software or manual entry methods. This includes recording invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial activities.
- Preparing Financial Statements: Preparing financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements based on the recorded ransactions.
- Managing Accounts Receivable and Payable: Monitoring & Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including invoicing customers, tracking payments, managing vendor invoices, and processing payments. And make sure that the amount of payment is matched.
- Internal Controls and Compliance: Accountants establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Risk Management: Finance professionals in risk management roles identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks faced by organizations. Develop risk management strategies, implement risk mitigation measures, and monitor and report on risks to senior management.
- Manage the organization’s liquidity, cash flow, and financial assets. They oversee cash management, banking relationships, and investment of surplus funds to optimize liquidity and maximize returns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree from Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experienced in Accounting & Finance for at least 3-5 years
- Attention to details, having integrity and ethical behavior in Accounting & Finance
- Initiative and conscientious
- Proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (such as GAAP or IFRS), and tax laws is ssential.
- Analytical Skills to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to help businesses make informed decisions. Strong analytical skills are crucial for success in the field.
- Having Sense “Cost Urgency”: importance or criticality of managing costs promptly and effectively. Signifies the need for immediate action or attention to control expenses, reduce waste, and optimize financial resources within the company.
- Ability to speak Hokkien is preferable.
